Geneva (Oldham) Lloyd

Geneva Lloyd, 100 of Mortons Gap passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Redding, California, at her granddaughter's house.  Born April 15, 1921, to the late William Leonard and Sarah Elizabeth (Yarbrough) Oldham.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Madisonville before going to live in California 16 years ago.  She attended a local church, Shasta Lake Baptist Church, while living there and she led the women's Bible study there.  Geneva enjoyed her flower garden and spending time with all the kids, they kept her young.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Lloyd; son Roy Lynn Lloyd; and daughter, Carolyn Fay Jenkins.

Survived by her son, Joe Ed Lloyd; brother, Ralph Oldham; 7 grandchildren, Derrick Lloyd, LaRena Smith, Shelly Jenkins, Kristie Smith, Kelly Lloyd, Amanda Wingfield and Justin Lloyd; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Madisonville on Saturday at 10:00 am with Bro. Chuck Evans officiating.  Burial to follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap.  Visitation will be held Friday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and at the church on Saturday after 9:00 am. 

Pallbearers are Derrick Lloyd, Kelly Lloyd, Justin Lloyd, Hunter Lloyd, Travis Wingfield and Roy Lloyd.
