Hilda Marie (Woodall) Adkins

Hilda Marie Adkins, 80 years of Madisonville passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  She was a co-founder of Country Cupboard before leaving to work for Gunn Oil Company where she managed the kitchens for Poor Ol' Freddy's for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, and she loved her dog, Paco. 

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott Hancock; stepson, Robert Adkins; and brothers, Raymond Woodall, Cecil Woodall and Bobby Woodall.

Survived by her husband of more than 35 years, Herman Adkins; son, Kevin (Jennifer) Hancock of Marion; stepdaughter, Gayle (Kenny) Nelson of Hanson; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy Hibbs, Jessica Label, Dylan Lock, Brandon Adkins, Kaily Hancock, Mason Hancock, Easton Hancock and Keaton Hancock; and great-granddaughter, Abbie Siferd.

Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville.
