Hilda Ann (Whitfield) Fox

Hilda Ann Fox, 80 of Nortonville passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Heartford House in Owensboro.  Born February 17, 1944, to the late Lewis and Violet (Heltsley) Whitfield of White Plains.  She has been a member of Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church since 1957 when she was in about the seventh grade.  Hilda has worked at various jobs throughout her life including the toll booth for Pennyrile Parkway, Walmart and Trover Clinic.  She has spent many hours in recent years researching her family genealogy.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Fox; daughter, Cynthia Dame; grandson, Joshua Solise; siblings, Donald Whitfield, Beverly Hicklin and Wanda Allen; son-in-law, Jim Dame; and brother-in-law, Roy Basham.

Survived by her children, Jeannie (Randy) Blanchard of Dawson Springs and Michael Fox of White Plains; grandchildren, Natalia Gordon of Madisonville, Trey Blanchard of Dawson Springs, Shelby (Nathan) Johnston of White Plains, Kyle (Jill) Dame of Madisonville and Kristi (Steven) Gaither of Madisonville; great-grandchildren, Cyrus and Lillian Solise, Madeline Lowbridge, Kaysen, Koleson and Kooper Johnston, Peyton Pendergraff, Keelie Gaither, Ryker and Rhett Dame; siblings, Martha Basham of Nortonville, and Darel (Vada) Whitfield of Nortonville; and brother-in-law, Dwight Allen.  

Service will be held Monday, August 12, at 3:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville.  Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
