James Edward Heflin, Sr.

James Edward Heflin, Sr., 67 of Dawson Springs passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his home.  Born February 10, 1954, to the late John Thomas Heflin, Sr. and the late Mary Louise Taylor Heflin.  He worked throughout his life as a heavy equipment operator for a paving company.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Johnathan Heflin; and 3 sisters, Betty Boyd, Connie Bledsoe and Sharon Evitts.

Survived by his children, James Heflin, Jr., Jennifer Abell, William Heflin and Mary Armstrong; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and siblings, John Thomas Heflin, Jr. and Sue Collier.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
