Janice Elaine Vandiver Love, 78 of Sturgis passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at her home. Born April 13, 1947, to the late Jessie Robert and Artie Justine (Smith) Vandiver. She was a member of Sanctuary Church in Nortonville. Janice worked for CSX Railroad, the former L&N Railroad, for 35 years before retiring. She had a talent for singing and playing the piano. Her family loved her cooking, and she loved doing it for them. Her family brought her much joy in life and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Gary David Mull; and siblings, Carmen Franklin, Gerald Vandiver, Von Camplin, Steve Vandiver, Sheila Burns, Houston Vandiver, Lewis Vandiver and Clifton Vandiver.
Survived by her children, Gary (Rebecca) Mull of Sturgis, Kevin (Johnna) Mull of Jacksonville, FL, and Jami Heffington of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren, Cameryn, Timmy, Jake, Cessily, Justin, Kristen, Nicole, Joshua and Joseph; 20 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Jack (Caroline) Vandiver, Ralph (Brenda) Vandiver and Sharon Hugo.
Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Pastor Monte Fuller and Bro. Christopher Cullen officiating. Burial to follow at Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
