Janice Marlene Scott, 77 of White Plains passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Born October 31, 1944, to the late Frank and Imogene (Woolsey) Asher. She was a member of Nortonville United Methodist Church. She was the owner and operator of "Flowers by Janice" in Nortonville for many years. Flowers and arrangements were both her hobby and her job. Janice enjoyed the creative outlet of the florist shop, however, she loved the social aspect of helping her customers with their need.
Preceded in death by her son, Corey Scott.
Survived by her 3 children, Kelly Love, Troy (Katlyn) Scott and Chandra Scott; 5 grandchildren, Brad Sharber, Casey (Shawn) Rawlins, Derek (Sara) Scott, Dalton Shadrick and Kaidenn Scott; 5 great-grandchildren, Chloe and Avery Rawlins, Kennedy, Sully and Cora Scott; and sister, Terri Allen.
Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Ron Henn officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dalton Shadrick, Brad Sharber, Shawn Rawlins, Tom Rainwater and Donald Shadrick. Honorary Pallbearer is Kaidenn Scott.
