Jerald Conway Stillwell

Jerald Conway Stillwell, 83 of Nortonville passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Windsor Arbor View Nursing Home in Edinburg, Texas.  He served in the U.S. Army for 7 years and then served in the U.S. Army Reserves for approximately 30 years.  He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1994 and also worked as a mechanic throughout his life.  Jerald enjoyed golfing in his free time, and he loved time with his family.

Preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Sherman Stillwell; daughter-in-law, Hope Stillwell; and brothers, Tony Mullins and Hershel Mullins.

Survived by his son, Jerald Stillwell of St. Charles; daughter, Misty Latham of Texas; 3 grandchildren, William Stillwell, Heather Stillwell and Alyssa Latham; 2 great-grandchildren, Americus and Bryce Stillwell; and 2 sisters, Tina Easter and Tracy Nixon both of Oklahoma.

Service will be held Saturday at noon at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Mike Easley officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery with military honors performed by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the funeral home.
