Jerry Lee Norris

Jerry Lee Norris, 39 of Nortonville passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026.  Born December 25, 1986, to the late Jerry and Sheila (Duke) Norris of North Carolina.  He worked for the Hopkins County Sanitation Department as a truck driver.  Jerry served his community by serving in the United States Army for five years; he also actively served as a volunteer with Rescue Squad 2, Nortonville Fire, White Plains Fire and Mortons Gap Fire Departments.  He enjoyed going fishing and hunting, and he loved to take his Jeep out mudding.  

Jerry is survived by his fiancé, Kaitlin Hewgley; 3 sons, Ethan Pedigo of FL, Jerry Norris, Jr. and Joseph Norris both of Nortonville; three brothers, Michael Norris, Kevin Wallace and Johnny Norris all of NC; and good friends, Eric & Cathryn Johnson of Nortonville.

Graveside committal service will be held Sunday, July 5, at 2:00pm at Union Temple Cemetery in St. Charles with Bro. Joe Knight officiating.
