Jessie Freman Parker

Jessie Freman Parker, 65 of Nortonville passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at his home.  Born April 2, 1954, to the late John and Effie (Doan) Parker of Mannington.  He worked for the state for many years driving trucks and mowing and he attended New Salem Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and being outside.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Doug, William, Wesley and John Parker, Sr.; and sisters, Pat Huggins and Polly Isabell.

Survived by his wife of 46years, Sue Orten Parker; children, Tammie Parker of Owensboro, Cathryn (Eric) Johnson of Nortonville, and Bryan Parker of Nortonville; grandchildren, Andrew (Becky) Eden, Anthoney (Emily) Eden, Parker, Caitlyn, Amber, Secoyah, Kristina, and Katie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Addison Lamb and Lexie and Sophia Eden; siblings, Debbie (Wayne) Stewart of Madisonville, and Earl (Joyce) Parker of Forney, TX.

Memorial service will be held Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating.  Burial will be private at a later date.  Visitation will be held after 12:00 P.M. at the church.
