Joetta (Clark) Davis

Joetta Clark Davis, 90 of Nortonville passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  Born September 30, 1933, to the late Burley and Mary Clark.  She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Nortonville and worked as a licensed beautician for over 10 years in Dawson Springs.  She enjoyed going camping and fishing with her husband in younger years.  Joetta looked forward to family gatherings and time with her sisters.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Yancy Luther Davis; daughter, Barbara Davis Wilson; and siblings, Mary Tarpley, Gene Clark, Ralph Clark, Mildred Gamblin and Shelby Clark.  

Survived by her son, Roger (Karen) Davis of Nortonville; 4 grandchildren, Josh (Cheri) Davis and Matthew Davis all of Owensboro, Kelly (Brett) Wayne of Greenville and Andrew Wilson of Madisonville; 3 great-grandchildren, Isabella Wayne, Addison Wayne and Maddox Wilson; and 2 sisters, Ruthie Clark and Rhonda Richardson.

Service will be held Thursday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating.  Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Visitation will start at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Josh Davis, Matthew Davis, Andrew Wilson, Jeff Richardson, Paul Adcock and Steve Gamblin.  Honorary pallbearer will be Maddox Wilson.
