John Richard Stambaugh

John Richard Stambaugh, 77 of Manitou passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  Born September 17, 1945, to the late Samuel and Eleanor (Newnam) Stambaugh of Illinois. He worked on a privately owned farm for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ron Stambaugh, Arnold Stambaugh and Larry Stambaugh.

Survived by his 3 sisters, Mary (Jim) McFarland, Sylvia Ford and Carol Kargol; brother, Joseph (Donna) Stambaugh; and nieces and nephews, Josh, Nick and Randy Stambaugh, Lane Grant, Mark McFarland, Penny Francis, Hope Johnson, Holly Strong, Jeremy Kargol, Kathy Harper, Janie Hubbard, Chris Forrest, Tammy Piini and Ronnie Ford.

Graveside service will be held at Concord Cemetery in Manitou on Monday at 1:00pm with Bro. Brad Payne officiating.
