Joy Ann Danielson, 51 of White Plains passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at her home. Born May 20, 1972, to the late Larry Danielson and to Cindy Arnold Wooten. She grew up in Chicago for many years before moving with her grandmother to Hopkins County. She worked as a waitress at Ponderosa and also as a CNA at Kentucky Resthaven. Joy found happiness in time with her family and her cats. She liked being a "girly girl" with her clothes, lotions, make-up and just getting dressed up.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Katie Arnold; and grandfather, Ula Arnold.
Survived by her husband of 32 years, Tony Gibson; 3 daughters, Donna Gibson of White Plains, LeeAnna (James) Muncy of Owensboro and Rebecca Gibson of Madisonville; 5 grandchildren, Serenity Gibson, Kahlil White, Liam Craig, Aspin Craig and Porter Muncy; 1 great-grandchild, Aalana Hendrix; mother, Cindy Wooten; 2 sisters, Cynthia (Malcolm) Webb of CO and Dawn Danielson of SC; and 2 brothers, Charles Parson and Troy Parson both of WA.
Service will be held Wednesday at 5:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
