Joyce Ray (Howton) Doss

Joyce Ray Doss, 77 of Madisonville passed away Monday, July 13, 2020, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born May 9, 1943, to the late Audrey and Mary (Gunther) Howton.  She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and just being outside.  She loved her family and time spent with them. Her dogs were also important to her, Sophie, Jax and Dexter.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant, Tommy Humphries; brother, Larry Howton; and sister, Sandy Vannoy  

Survived by her husband, Adrian Doss; children, Vera (David) Ramsey of Springfield, IL, Norma Wade of Hopkinsville, Joyce Reane (Danny) Young of Hernando, MS, and Randi Dawn (Ray) Browning of Anton; 10 grandchildren, Dylan Wade, Lauren Wade, Hunter Wade, Ricky Sanders, Billy Coffman, Mark Coffman, David Ramsey, Jr., Caylee Moore, Robin Young and Wyatt Young; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rhonda (Bill) Wall, Mary Knight and Barbara Wall; and brother, Billy (Judy) Howton.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. David Darnell officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9:00A.M. at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Ray Browning, Danny Young, Donavon Rzepka, Deon Forker, Randy Bell and Ronald Back.

Attendees are requested to wear a mask.  Please do not attend if you have or have had a fever or signs/symptoms in the past 14 days.  Social distancing is required for attendees.
