Kevin Michael Lear, 47 of Mortons Gap passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at UofL Jewish Hospital. Born February 16, 1977, to Michael Lear and Debra (Crafton) Hampton. He was employed by White Drive Hydraulics in Hopkinsville. Kevin loved being outside, even if just to take a drive. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and he had a skill for building model cars. Kevin loved his family, especially time with his nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth Lear, Emma Spurlin Dunlap, Plez Crafton and Virginia Crafton.
Survived by his parents; the love of his life, Jaime Faith; sons, Zachary (Roberta) Cummings and Gregory Faith II; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Mae) Cobb; sister-in-law, Leslie (Matt) Scott; sisters, Bridget Blanchard and Mary Cullen; nephews, Robert (Destiny) Cook and Brandon Littlepage; niece, Lindie (Lucas) Gentry; great-nephew, Bentley Cook; great-nieces, Braylin Cook and Marlee Gentry; and extended family.
Service will be held at 2:00pm Monday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville. Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home.
