Lavada Ann Jackson, 80 of Madisonville passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess. Born April 27, 1943, to the late Jewel and Lois (Born) Jackson. She had a knack for finding four-leaf clovers and always had her eye out for one. She also enjoyed looking through coins for wheat-pennies to collect. Lavada enjoyed watching football too. These things will always remind her family of her when they see them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Lee Johnson; brothers, Clarence, Steve and Johnny Jackson; and sisters, Jean Clark, Millie Jackson and Ann Hinson.
Survived by her daughter, Missy "MJ" Johnson of Madisonville; 2 grandchildren, Brittney (Shawn) Crunk of White Plains and Gage (Maggie) Johnson of Nortonville; 6 great-grandchildren, Elijah Johnson, Aaliyah Johnson, Aliviah Johnson, Tilyn Crunk, Hagen Crunk and McKinley Crunk; 1 great-great-grandchild, Ophelia Johnson; and 5 siblings, Linda Harley, David Jackson, Wanda Harstin, Sandy Jackson and Louise Branning.
Her family will be hosting a Celebration of Life service Sunday, January 14, at 2:00pm at the St. Charles Community Center.
