Leon Wayne LaPradd

Leon Wayne LaPradd, 72 of Madisonville passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at his residence.  Born February 13, 1952, to the late William Buster and Katie (Vandiver) LaPradd of St. Charles.  He lived a portion of his life in the Chicago area where he worked for a factory for many years before moving back to Hopkins County.  Leon could be considered to be a little contankerous by some, but he did have a love for his family and friends and tried to make sure that they were taken care of if he could help.  

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Judy LaPradd and Edith Rice; brothers, Joey, Darrell and David LaPradd; niece, Carolyn Chantelle Tinsley; and close friend, Terry Poisso.

Survived by adopted sister, Debbie LaPradd; adopted brother, David Dillie; brother-in-law, Francis "Butch" Rice; good friend, John (Sandra) Ivy; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside committal will be held Tuesday at noon at Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles.
