Linda Sue (Stewart) Obenchain

Linda Sue Obenchain, 75, of Nortonville, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at her home.  Born January 30, 1945, to the late Gaston and Ila (Sneed) Stewart.  She attended New Salem Baptist Church and sold insurance for several years.  She enjoyed crafting and traveling, loved her grandchildren, and was always at James's side.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant brother.

Survived by her husband of 45 years, James Obenchain; daughter, Sue Ellen Stone of Manitou; grandchildren, Mayson Stone of Manitou, Ethan Stone of Madisonville and Matthew Stone of Madisonville; brother, Terry (Dea) Stewart of St. Charles; several nieces and nephews; and her pets, Snowball the dog and Socks the cat.

Service will be held Saturday at 2:00P.M. at Bandy Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until service at 2:00P.M.

Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask.  Please do not attend if you have or have had a fever or any signs or symptoms in the past 14 days.  Bandy Funeral Home will be monitoring the number of people in the building to maintain 33% capacity or less at this time.
