Lisa Lane Phillips, 68 of Nortonville passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Born March 24, 1958, to the late Donald Moore and the late Ramona (Farmer) Moore Key. She was a devout Christian who dedicated her life to her faith and her family. She was a member of White Plains Church of Christ until 2024 and is currently a member of Pennyrile Church of Christ. Lisa was part of the first Lady Tomcats Basketball team at South Hopkins High School; her jump-shot helped earn the team a trip to the state tournament in 1975. She was a lady of many talents, such as drawing, painting, making videos and was an excellent cook. Lisa loved to be outside with her flowers and gardening and watching the hummingbirds.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Nathan Phillips; and sister, Debbie (Larry) Chandler.
Survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Jeff Phillips; son Patrick (April) Phillips of Dawson Springs; daughter-in-law, Duska Phillips of White Plains; 7 grandchildren, Katie (Jacob) Watts, Zach (Abigail) Phillips, Jeffery (Brooklyn) Phillips, Mackenzie (Ethan) Summers, Nich Phillips, Tuesday Phillips and Ella Phillips; great-grandchildren, Hadley & Ensley Watts, Waylen & Wesley Phillips, Layla Summers, and Nathan Phillips; sister, Laura (Linda) Moore; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews; and the family dog, Buddy Reese Cup. She loved each one of these people dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 11, at Noon at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville. Visitation will be from 10:00am – Noon at the funeral home.
