Loretta (Stevens) Stringer

Loretta Stevens Stringer 91, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on July 22, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 12, 1934, in Nortonville, Kentucky to late Dewey and Helen (Teague) Stevens.  

Survived by her son, Michael McGowan of Michigan, formerly of Nortonville; grandchildren, Crystal McGowan and Matthew William McGowan; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jimmy Stevens of Utica, MI.

Visitation will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm both evenings and on Thursday from noon until 2:00pm.  Service will begin at 2:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery.
