Lucy Elizabeth (Moore) Carroll

Lucy Elizabeth Moore Carroll, 82 of White Plains passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  Born August 21, 1941, to the late Clifford and Rosie (Mannahan) Moore of White Plains.  She was a lifetime member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in White Plains.  Lucy was an avid reader except for when she was busy watching Perry Mason or her westerns on television. Her family was important to her and she loved them dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Moore and Mervin "Connie" Carroll; 3 brothers that passed as children; and her sisters, Roenna Blankenship, Eula Rust, Nevada Brasher and Lener Moore.

Survived by her many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews, all of which she loved and treated as her grandchildren.

Service will be held Thursday at 1:00pm at Concord Church in White Plains with Bro. Tony Lipford officiating.  Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00p - 7:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville and from 11:00am til service time on Thursday at the church.
