Madeline Crick Vickey, 97 of White Plains passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at home with her family at her side. Born July 8, 1928, to the late Oliver and Florence (Carlton) Crick of Nortonville. She attended both Orange Grove Church and Coles Chapel Church throughout her life. Madeline loved her family and was thankful for the time and care they provided her. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life of sitting on the porch watching nature's creations, and she could often be heard singing hymnals.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vickey; sisters, Ora Hunt, Edith Grace and Lola Mosley; and brother, James Clayton Crick.
Survived by her children, John (Sherry) Vickey of Illinois, Linda (Jeff) Stanley of White Plains, Nancy Hughson of Illinois, Cara (Don) Putty of Nortonville and Billy Hughson of Sedalia; her twin sister, Pauline Prickett of Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Charlie Spears officiating. Burial to follow at Coles Chapel Cemetery in Crofton. Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service hour at the funeral home.
