Marie (Blanton) Love

Hertha Marie Love, 80 of Dawson Springs went to her Heavenly home Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Heartford House Hospice.  Born April 21, 1943, to the late Cordie Ellis and Era Mae (Cummings) Blanton.  She worked as a med. tech. for Tradewater Nursing Home for several years and was a member of Walnut Grove Church.  Marie was part of the gospel group, Saved By Grace, she enjoyed traveling with the group spreading God's word.  She was very dedicated to her family, always ready to spread her love and smile with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sons, Thomas Orange and John Love; son-in-law, Kevin Gamblin; and brothers, Halford Blanton and Haskel Blanton.

Survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Larry Love; children, Ron (Linda) Orange, Teresa (Judy) Fields and Vicki Love Gamblin; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda (Stanley) Duncan.

Service will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Jackie Mathis officiating.  Burial to follow at Dunn Cemetery in Dawson Springs.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
