Mary Elizabeth Redfern Briggerman, 88 of Hopkinsville passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Christian Care Nursing in Hopkinsville. Born January 9, 1936, to the late Owen and Mattie (Patterson) Littlepage. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Hopkinsville for many years. She was always the caretaker of her family, as she was the oldest of her siblings before growing a family of her own. Mary enjoyed cooking for and watching after her grandchildren. Her family was her joy in life.
Preceded in death by 2 sisters, Shirley Galloway and Nancy O’Bryan; 3 brothers, Jay Littlepage, Dicki Littlepage and Markie Littlepage; grandchildren, Kelly and Amber Hershberger; daughter-in-law, Roxie Redfern; and 3 sons-in-laws, Greg Hershberger, Robert Gagnon and Dewayne Foe.
Survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Herman Briggerman; 10 children, Barry (Kathy) Redfern of Massillon, OH, Charlotte Gagnon of Hopkinsville, Johnnie Redfern of Akron, OH, Bobbie McDougal of Hopkinsville, Marilye (Hank) Hart of Akron, OH, Christy (Jimmy) Young of Crofton, Natalie Foe of Hopkinsville, Paul (Tricia) Briggerman of Charleston, IL, Rebekah Briggerman of AZ and Juanita Michelle (Steve) Craig of IL; 27 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 siblings, Bobby Littlepage of Madisonville, Stevie (Darlene) Littlepage of IN, Linda Bullock of Nortonville, Ruthie Clark of Mortons Gap and Libby Forsythe of TX.
Service will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at Concord Baptist Church in Hopkinsville with Pastor David Harrison officiating. Burial to follow at Judges Chapel Cemetery in Crofton. Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service time at the church.
