Mary Ann Brothers, 69 of White Plains passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical. Born February 12, 1952, to the late Thomas Gamblin and the late Dorothy Ashby Gamblin Pierce. Mary was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in White Plains. Her favorite thing to do was to watch her kids and grandkids play sports. If they had a game she would do her best to be there to support and cheer.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Brothers; stepson, Kenneth Brothers; grandchildren, Ashley Clark and Tika Brothers; sisters, Debbie Gamblin, Myrtle Harralson, Betty Smith and Jane McCargo; and brothers, Goble Gamblin and Dewey Gamblin.
Survived by her son, Tommy (Stephanie) Brothers; stepchildren, Teri (Dale) Matheny, Brian Brothers and Darren (Regina) Brothers; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen (David) Kirkwood and Lori (Gary) Littlepage; and Truman Gamblin.
Service will be held Tuesday at 12:00p.m. at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Ellis Payne officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. and on Tuesday after 10:00a.m. at the funeral home.
