Mary Louise (Burns) Fox

Mary Louise Fox, 93 of Nortonville passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Brighton Cornerstone Nursing Home.  Born January 9, 1931, to the late Wiley Burns and the late Lou Browning.  She was a true homemaker for her family over the years, taking care of her beloved husband, son and home over the years.  She enjoyed mowing the yard and took pride in taking good care of her lawn.  Her favorite thing was cooking for her grandson, he wasn't to be hungry as long as she was able.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Jay Fox; grandson, Joshua Fox; sister, Dorothy Todd; and half-siblings, Gertie Hopper, Sue Choate, Roger Browning and William Browning.

Survived by her son, Barry (Vickie) Fox of Nortonville; half-siblings, Mary Uzzle and Shirley Browning; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Terry Bowman officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00p - 7:00p and Tuesday after 11:00a until service time at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Joseph Miller, Tommy Choate, Austin Knowles, Billy Farmer, Hank Knowles and Aaron Duvall.

Barry would like to say a special “thank you” to Dr. Farmer and all of the nurses and staff at Brighton Cornerstone for the excellent care that was provided to his mom.
