Mary Ann (Todd) Vandiver

Mary Ann Vandiver, 67 of Nortonville passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at U of L Jewish Hospital with her family at her side.  Born June 9, 1958, to the late Calvin and Dorothy (Burns) Todd.  She was a member of Nortonville Baptist Church.  Mary stayed at home taking care of her family and raising her children; once they had grown she began to work at Earlington School Cafeteria helping take care of more children.  If you were looking for Mary she was probably in the car rider line at school, making sure her babies were the first ones out.  When she wasn't taking care of or checking in with her children and grandchildren she was spending time with her brothers and sisters.  Mary knew that the secret to a happy life was a close family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Vandiver; and sister, Debbie Hendrickson.

Survived by her 3 children, Jackie (Cynthia Barnett) Greer of White Plains, Matt (Amber) Greer of Nortonville and Kayla (Cody) Carter of Madisonville; 6 grandchildren, Nick (Sofia) Rodgers, Adelyn Greer, Jaxon Greer, Kenadee Greer, Abi Greer and Maverick Greer; 1 great-grandchild, Katherine Mae Rodgers; siblings, John Calvin (Carolyn) Todd, Janice (Rick) Level, James Lynn Todd, Peggy (Mark) Darnell and Paula (Ronnie Pace) Todd; brother-in-law, James (Tammy) Vandiver; sister-in-law, Penny Vandiver; and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Friday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Darwin Rideout officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery with Bro. Scott Qualls with prayer.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.  Pallbearers are Jaxon Greer, Nick Rodgers, Dylan Sutton, Cooper Moore, Braxton Browning, Chris Level and Justin Moore.  Honorary Pallbearers are Greg Sutton, James Calvin Todd and Rickey Level.
