Maverick Cole Slaton

Maverick Cole Slaton was born silent to the world on April 27, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital to his parents, Jacob and Makenzie (Ipox) Slaton of Nortonville.  Maverick was born silent; however, he was already cherished and loved by his family and has left his impression on all of their hearts. 

Preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Donald Back, Kenny Taylor and Joe Slaton.

Survived by his parents, Jacob and Makenzie Slaton; big brother, Maddox Slaton; grandparents, Jason & Donna Ipox of Nortonville and Jason & Ericka Slaton of Earlington; great-grandparents, Debbie Back of Nortonville, Rusty & Linda Ipox of Nortonville, Alice Taylor of Madisonville and Susie Martin of White Plains; step-great-grandmother, Michelle Slaton of Florida; and aunts & uncles, Kaylee Matheny, Kody Matheny, Kaden & Raven Ipox, Justin Slaton, Colt Slaton and Jesse Slaton.

Graveside service for family was held Friday, May 1, at 11am at New Salem Cemetery with Bro. Heath Carlton officiating.
