Michael Dale Rodgers, 68 of Nortonville entered his heavenly home on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. Born July 16, 1955, to the late Arthur and Mayme (Carroll) Rodgers of Nortonville. Mike was a retired coal miner, having spent all of his adult life following in his daddy's footsteps. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing board games and card games, just laughing and spending time together.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Philip and Donnie Rodgers; twin infant sisters, Sharen and Karen Rodgers; nephew, Nathan Rodgers; and sister-in-law, Sandra Rodgers.
Survived by his brothers, Larry (Donna) Rodgers and Mark (Lori) Rodgers; sister, Sandy (Boyd) Mackey, Joanne (Jim) Crick, and Christine (Craig) Byers; sister-in-law, Tonda Rodgers; 18 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and nephews; and 12 great-great- nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with his nephew, Houston Crick, officiating. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
