Molly Ann Cook, 80 of Nortonville passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at her home with her family at her side. Born July 30, 1943, to the late Odis and Ardith (Adams) Brown of Nortonville. Her family was her priority throughout her life, taking care of them brought her joy, She participated in PTA and was awarded Head Room Mother when her kids were in school. Molly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like watching the hummingbirds and competing with game shows on television from her couch. Her family coming to visit is what brought a smile to her face.
Preceded in death by her son, Marty Darrell Cook; and siblings, Edgar Brown, Martha Corbett, Hazel Brown, Gary Brown and Betty Spears.
Survived by her husband of 64 years, William Darrell Cook; daughters, Doris Cook of Greenville, Samantha (James) Reynolds of Greenville and Molly Kate Cook of Nortonville; siblings, Debbie Cunningham, Randy (Robbie) Brown and Geneva Corbitt; 13 grandchildren, Thomas (Laura) Cook, Elizabeth (Brian) Cummings, Katherine (Kody) Young, Darlene (Jake) Runkel, Carrie Reynolds, Lacie Reynolds, Mylan Reynolds, Owen Reynolds, Nolan Reynolds, Marlow Reynolds, Finley Reynolds, Anna Zachary and Amealia Zachary; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Monday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial to follow at Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and Monday after 11:00am at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brian Cummings, Randy Hunt, Jamie Reynolds, Roger Long, Terry Moore and Jeff Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Cobb, Billy Groves, Kevin Cook and Tommy Cook.
