Paula (Fowler) Underwood

Paula Fowler Underwood, 71 of Madisonville passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Madisonville Health and Rehab.  Born September 3, 1952, to the late James C. Fowler, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Tucker) Fowler of Madisonville.  Paula was the General Manager of Glass-pac before retiring and had previously worked for McCoy & McCoy for several years.  She enjoyed being outside with time spent fishing, golfing or playing tennis in younger years.  Her favorite time was time spent with her grandchildren, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patty Trucinski; and brother-in-law, Roy Babb.

Survived by her children, Eric M. (Erica Wheatley) Underwood of Madisonville and Amber (John Wesley) Slaton of Nortonville; grandchildren, Bo Slaton, Liz Hurst and Calvin Underwood; sisters, Claudia (David) Runge of Louisville and Janice Babb of Madisonville; brother, James C. (Tammy) Fowler, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. 

Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating.  Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
