Phyllis June Phelps, 58 of White Plains passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess. Born July 23, 1964, to the late Jessie Majors and the late Daisy (Mayes) Majors Harvey. She was of Christian faith and previously worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and they loved spending time with her.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Donda Wayne Harvey; infant granddaughter, Areanna Robinson; sisters, Peggy Pleasant and Joyce Dugan; and brothers, Roger "Muttly" Majors and Tommy Majors.
Survived by her beloved husband of over 35 years, Scotty Phelps; son, Danial Phelps; daughter, April Phelps; 3 grandchildren, Kammeron Ferguson, Mathyus Phelps and Gavin Phelps; sisters, Katheryn (Wade) Hamilton and Pam Earl; and brothers, David "Swampy" Harvey and Jessie Majors.
Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Mark Shumaker officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
