Robert Elvis Johnson, 75 of Nortonville passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at his home. Born July 2, 1950, to the late Willard and Josephine (Miller) Johnson of Livermore. He retired from KET after 45 years of service, he also worked for O’Reilly Auto Parts in Madisonville. Robert had a love for John Deere tractors, and those that knew him knew his love for history. His family had dubbed him “Mr. Fix It” for his skill at being able to repair practically everything. Robert’s passion in life was his “Girls”; always making sure that they were taken care of in life. They were his pride and joy. God also blessed him with a son in the form of a son-in-law when He sent Jon into the family; Jon was a faithful caregiver and helped carry the load of all the “Girls”.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Johnson-Hogue; and a great-grand-pup, K-9 Narco.
Survived by his daughters, Kristina (Jon) Childress and Cassie Lindle all of Nortonville; granddaughters, Taylor and Jaci Childress, Nevaeh and Novah Lindle; and great-grand-pups, Charlie, Gotham and K-9 Arkham.
Service will be held Sunday at 4:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Pastor Chris Manning officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
