Roger Dale Latham, Sr., 71 of St. Charles was called home Monday, September 4, 2023. Born April 9, 1952, to the late Coleman and Opal (Parish) Latham in Dawson Springs. He was a member of Dawson Springs First Baptist Church and was the owner of R & L Supply. He was completely devoted to his wife and family. Roger enjoyed fishing and traveling, he liked working on the farm and tending to his cows. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and a Kansas City Chiefs fan. Spending time playing cards with his kids and grandkids brought him much joy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Sherman and Kathey Reich.
Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Elizabeth (Smith) Latham; children, Jennifer (Jason) Hatcher, Melissa (Felicia) Teague, Roberta (Clay) Hopkins and Roger Latham, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie) Hatcher, Shayna Hatcher, Ethan Shelton, Kaitlyn (Tanner) Weir, Dylan Shelton, Mallory Latham, Preston Latham, Grace Hopkins, Jesse (Madison) Hopkins, Ruthie Hopkins, Abbie Hopkins, Chelsey Teague, Skylar Teague and Samuel Teague; 5 great-grandchildren, Peyton Hatcher, Allison Hatcher, Jaxon Weir, Kolten Fox and one-on-the-way; sisters, Irene Watson, Mary (Dewayne) Fauvor, Joyce (David) Morgan; brother, Ronald (Linda) Latham; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Jackie Perkins officiating. Burial to follow at Cranor Cemetery in St. Charles. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
