Ronald "Crash" Wayne Powell, 58 of Kirkmansville passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his home. Born December 5, 1966, to Ronald Hayden Powell and to Wilma Warren Payne. Ronnie was a faithful member of House of Prayer Church in Nortonville for the past 20 years. He was the owner/operator of R.W. Powell Trucking, he began moving trucks and being involved with the business since the age of 15. He enjoyed riding Harley's and bird hunting in his free time. Ronnie liked to take his wife to Disney World, go camping with his boys, or just hang out at home. He loved spending time with his family and he was thankful for his relationship with God.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor Powell, Sr., Mary Dew, Ernest Warren and Martha Warren.
Survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Kimberly (Whitfield) Powell of Kirkmansville; sons, Braden Eli Powell of Kirkmansville, Ethan Wayne Powell of Kirkmansville and Gary-Dean Logan (Greer) Powell of Elkton; grandson, Tucker Cole Powell of Elkton; father, Ronald Hayden (Glenda) Powell of Kirkmansville; mother, Wilma Payne of Clarksville; brother, Jon Michael (Alicia) Vaughn of Clarksville; father and mother-in-law, Darel and Vada Whitfield of Nortonville.
Service will be held Saturday at Noon at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Alan Morgan officiating. Burial to follow at Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
