Obituary
Ruby Johnson Knight, 91 of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home. Born November 28, 1931, to the late Raymond and Lillie (Pyle) Boze of Nortonville. She attended Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church, and had a history of working as a nurse at the hospital in her younger years before becoming a sales clerk at Watsons and the manager of the local fabric store. She loved caring for her family and spending time with all of them.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Opal Offutt; and brothers, James and Mack Boze.
Survived by her son, Merle David (Lisa) Compton of Madisonville; daughter, Connie (Lynn) Groves of Nortonville; 3 grandchildren, Kyle (Le'Anna) Compton, Heather (Troy) Patterson and Jody (Libby) Groves; 5 great-grandchildren, Cody (Whitney) Patterson, Tanner (Julia) Patterson, Kyliee Groves, Kaden Groves and Kolby Groves; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Ben Patterson, Violet Patterson and Dallas Byrum.
Services will be private for immediate family at a later date.
