Ruby Faye (Earl) Sneed

Ruby Faye Sneed, 83 of Earlington passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born June 2, 1937, to the late Luther and Roselee (Gilkey) Earl of St. Charles.  She was a member of Gilland Ridge General Baptist Church.  She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs before retiring.  Faye enjoyed being outdoors, she loved catfishing and was skilled at mushroom hunting.  She was proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Dickerson; husband, Charlie Sneed; brothers, Larry, James, Paul, William "Dude", Bobby Ott, Jerry, Floyid and David Earl; and sisters, Louie Whitledge and Helen Bean.

Survived by her grandchildren, Fabian (Candy) Dickerson of Henderson, Kassy Holmes of Manitou and Heath (Ashley) Dickerson of Madisonville; son-in-law, Eddie Dickerson; 13 great-grandchildren, Lindsey Gauthier, Dustin Bowman, Lauren Burge, Taylor Oldham, Lexus Bennett, Alexis Dickerson, Elijah Dickerson, Destiny Holmes, Hailey Holmes, Matthew Dickerson, Emma Jones, Allen Jones and Aiden Dickerson; 7 great-great-grandchildren, Cooper Burge, Weston Bowman, Taylon Jones, Kyndall Jones, Gunner Gathier, Lily Oldham and Leon Bennett; brother, Kenneth Earl; sisters, Willie "Bill" Adamson and Hazel "Sissy" Dukes; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held on Thursday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Haire officiating.  Burial to follow at Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.  Pallbearers are Bobo Adamson, Branden Kimbel, Wayne Whitledge, Earnie Owens, Jimmy Dev Owens and James Bean.  Honorary Pallbearers are Kaden Will Brown, Allen Jones, Matthew Dickerson, Alexis Dickerson and Elijah Dickerson.

Attendees are required to wear a mask and social distance while attending.  Anyone with a fever or signs/symptoms in the past 14 days are requested to not attend.
