Sandra Marie (Savage) Eckard

Sandra Marie Eckard, 48 of Dawson Springs passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, as a result of the storms in the area.  Born August 11, 1975, to the late Bradley Richard Savage, Jr. and Anne (Westerman) Savage Gaskins in Wisconsin.  She worked for Senior Helpers as a sitter for the elderly.  She enjoyed crocheting and loved being outdoors and going fishing.  Animals were a passion for her, always rescuing dogs and bringing them to the farm to live.  Sandra had a big smile that she was happy to share with others.

In addition to her father she is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Gaskins.

Survived by her husband, Billy Eckard; mother, Anne Marie Gaskins of NC; son, Jamie Lapointe of NC; 3 daughters, Joline Savage of NC, Jasmine (Austin) Williams of NC and Ariel Etters of GA; several grandchildren; sister, Patricia Savage; and brothers, Duane Gaskins and Jobie Gaskins.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville with Bro. Danny Earl officiating.
