Sarah Renee Carter

Sarah Renee Carter, 22 of Dawson Springs went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  She was born July 12, 2001, and she was a member of Life Apostolic Church in Madisonville.  She worked at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab since she was 16 years old, she loved her job.  Sarah has spent time in the Dietary department, she was a phlebotomist, and she was a Certified Nurse Aide.  She loved the residents and they loved her, her presence will be missed.  She had many interest, including art and music.  She loved spending time with family and friends and her church family.  Sarah had a deep love for animals and all of her fur-babies.

Preceded in death by her "Mammie", Jeannie Holmes; and Uncle "Bud" Smith.

Survived by her mother, Melinda Carter; 2 sisters; 1 brother; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; her "Nannie", Tammy Carter; 2 uncles, Mike Carter and Jeff (Susan) Smith; grandmother, Polly Carter; best friend, Alexis Carter; and several cousins that she adored very much.

Service will be held Wednesday, September 13, at Life Apostolic Church in Madisonville at 12:00pm with Pastor Dustin Lee officiating.  Burial to follow at Old Beulah Cemetery in Beulah.  Visitation will begin at 10:30am at the church.  Pallbearers will be Mike Carter, David Carter, Scott Hollis, Corey Shearon, Brent Hughs and Tabby Carter.  Honorary Pallbearers are Brooklyn Thompson and Alexis Carter.
