Sebrena Mitchell Obituary

Sebrena Sue Mitchell, 65 of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.  Born January 11, 1958, to the late Jim Mitchell and Duprey (Smith) Mitchell of Nortonville.  She worked for Hopkins County Schools as Club Southside Director for over 20 years before retiring in 2018, and was a member of Covenant Community Church.  She was an avid UK Wildcats fan, always keeping up with the schedule and recording if she couldn't be home.  Her family was the center of her attention though.  Always staying close with her daughters, grandchildren, mother and her little dog, Darci.

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lula Smith and Lawson Smith.

Survived by her 2 daughters, Jessica (Colby) McPeek of Nortonville, and Jennifer Kellam of Earlington; mother, Duprey Mitchell of Nortonville; grandchildren, Joleigh Clark, Jayci Clark, Ainsley Kellam, Kenlee Kellam, Cole McPeek and Evie McPeek; and her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Service will be held Sunday at 3:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Pastor Howard Jones officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Colby McPeek, Mark Pharris, Greg Rodgers, Thad Prince, Caleb McPeek and Greg Harper.
