Shirley Imogene (Carlton) Crick

Shirley Crick, 67 of White Plains passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, peacefully while surrounded by her loving daughters.  Born August 18, 1955, to the late Jewell Woodson and Beatrice Irene (Mosley) Carlton.  She was a member of Orange Grove Church and attended Coles Chapel's monthly service.  She worked as a cook for Indian Hills Elementary for 20 years before retiring, she enjoyed serving "her kids" as she referred to the students.  Shirley loved to go fishing and the chance to spoil her three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Owen Crick; brothers, Woodson (Bonnie) Carlton and Durwood (June) Carlton; and her dear sister, Carolyn (Tub) Stanley.

Survived by her two daughters, Kimberly (Keith) Howard and April Sargent all of White Plains; 3 grandchildren, Charity and Rebekah Howard of White Plains, and Lyndsay (Timothy Duncan) Howard of Madisonville; brothers, Henry Carlton of White Plains, and Malon (Gail) Carlton of Livermore; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Jerry Sweeney officiating.  Burial to follow at Coles Chapel Cemetery in Crofton.  Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home.
