Shirley Fay (Cobb) Virge

Shirley Fay Virge, 60 of Madisonville passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born September 9, 1958, to the late Gordon Cobb and Geneva (Drake) Barnes.  She was of Pentecostal faith.  She worked as a nurse aide for many years and always enjoyed her time spent working at the Paragon.  She loved her family and was a UK Wildcats fan.

Preceded in death by her husband, Billy Virge, Sr.; father, Gordon Cobb; and grandson, Clarence Edward Allen Virge.

Survived by her sons, Billy Virge, Jr. and Jason Virge of Madisonville; daughter, Shannon Virge of Madisonville; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hathaway and Sherry Woolfolk; brother, Barry Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Odd Felllows Cemetery in Madisonville with Bro. Joel Riley officiating.
