Stanley Van Crick, 68 of White Plains passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Born February 17, 1956, to the late Amos and Georgia (Stanley) Crick. He married Linda Carlton in 1976 and he worked for Alliance Coal at Dotiki mines for 38 years. Stanley was a member and an elder at Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served as the cemetery caretaker for Mt. Carmel Cemetery for many years. His family and his grandchildren brought him great joy and pride throughout his life.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Russell O. Crick and sister-in-law, Shirley Crick.
Survived by his beloved and dedicated wife, Linda Crick; children, Audra (Joe) Lacy of South Carolina and Adam (Amanda) Crick of White Plains; grandchildren, Caleb Lear, Ethan Lear and Addison Crick; brother, Harold (Doris) Crick; and sister, Susie (Wayne) Carlton.
Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Keith Howard officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
