Thersa Elaine (Uzzle) Martin

Thersa Elaine Martin, 76 of White Plains passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at her home.  Born November 26, 1948, to the late W.D. Uzzle and Helen (Merrell) Uzzle of Mortons Gap.  She has been a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in White Plains since 2001.  She was the beautician and owner of Thersa's Style House for over 20 years.  She enjoyed reading and puzzles, and she never turned down a shopping trip.  Thersa was proud of her family and they brought joy into her life and a smile to her face.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice "Granny" Moore.

Survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Larry Martin; daughters, Wendy (Billy) Brummett and Tiffany Crawford, both of White Plains; and grandchildren, Mason Crawford and Ryan McKenzie Brummett.

Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in White Plains with Bro. Tony Lipford officiating.  Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville and Wednesday from 11:00am until service hour at the church.  Pallbearers are Billy Brummett, Timmy Martin, Tony Hight, Donovan Hight, Jerry Hicks and Chris Martin.  Honorary Pallbearer is Mason Crawford.
