Thomas Perry Joles, 73 of St. Charles passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born June 11, 1948, to the late Richard and Ruth (Pentice) Joles. He was a member and an elder at House of Hope Church in Mannington for 12 years, he was also a licensed minister. Served as medical corp in Korea during the Vietnam War for the U.S. Army. Tom was the owner and head cook of Tom's Kountry Kitchen. He always enjoyed spending time fishing, and loved being with his family and grandkids.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Tony Earl; and wife, Debra Tyner Joles.
Survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Rose (Woodruff) Joles; 5 daughters, Mashanda (Adam) Keller of IL, Monica (Chancey) Keller of IL, Ava Lacy of Dawson Springs, Tina (Jay) Carter of Madisonville and Amy (Franklin) Hunter of Dawson Springs; son, Billy (Tisha) Earl of St. Charles; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at House of Hope Church at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, with Bro. Raymond Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Shy Flat Cemetery in Dawson Springs. Military Honors will be held at the cemetery by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.
