Timothy Michael Dietz, 71 of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his home. Born July 9, 1951, to the late John and Alice (Thibodeau) Dietz in Montana. Tim was a veteran of the United States Army where he served for 8 years and was a radio operator. He attended Life Point Church, and he worked as a truck driver for many years. He always enjoyed being outdoors hunting, riding his motorcycle or going fishing. His family always brought a smile to his face, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Parker Dietz; son, Bryan Dietz; granddaughter, Lindsi Dietz; sister, Jackie Taylor; and three brothers, John Dietz, Robert Dietz and Billy Dietz.
Survived by 3 sons, Steven (Tracie) Dietz of Hopkinsville, Mike (Dawn) Dietz of Ohio, and Keith (Christi) Dietz of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Devin, McKailah, Dyllan, Allyson, Courtney, Jason, Joseph, Ashley, Austin and Peyton; 2 great-grandchildren, Isaiah Dietz and Keigan Dietz Smith; and 2 sisters, Elizabeth Whaley and Von Allen.
Memorial Service will be held Monday at 2:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Timmy Creekmur officiating. Burial with military rites by the Hopkins County Honor Guard will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home on Monday.
