Travis Dale Vandiver, 43 of Nortonville passed away March 30, 2023, at his home. Born July 23, 1979, to the late Dale Vandiver and Penny (Lear) Vandiver of White Plains. He was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in White Plains. Travis was a truck driver since age 21 and was currently employed with Area Logistics. He was also an EMT with Rescue Squad 2 in Nortonville and a volunteer firefighter with the South Hopkins, White Plains, Nortonville and Mortons Gap squads. He loved his family, loved taking care of them and spending time with them. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to name a few of his roles.
Preceded in death by his father, Dale Vandiver; sister, Maggie Vandiver; infant grandchild; and grandparents, Kenneth Lear and Emma Dunlap, and Leslie "Cricket" and Allie Mae Vandiver.
Survived by his wife, Kristi (Smith) Vandiver; children, Courtney Vandiver (Tyler) of Hopkinsville, Nicholas (Heather) Vandiver of Mortons Gap, Emma Vandiver and Josie Vandiver of White Plains; mother, Penny Vandiver; brother, Jake (Leeann) Vandiver; and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Sunday at 3:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Daniel Vandiver officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home.
