Virginia Nell (Randolph) Cobb

Virginia Nell Cobb, 77 of Nortonville passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, at her home.  Born November 2, 1948, to the late Wendell and Mary (McGregor) Randolph in Kokomo, Indiana.  She worked as a CNA at NHC Nursing Home for many years before retiring.  Virginia loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Buddy” Cobb; daughter, Belinda Cobb; and 4 siblings, Bobby Durbin, Susie Randolph, Martha Cobb and Junior Randolph.

Survived by her children, Charles (Cathy) Cobb, Peggy (Wayne) Payton, Kathy (Rafe) Pendley and Starla (Scotty) Groves; grandchildren, Johnnie Dukes, Katrina Cobb, Kyle (Brittny) Nordhaus, Allen Cobb, Kristopher Nordhaus, Heather (Lynn) Vincent, Cameron (Lilyth) Pendley, Connor Pendley, Keisha (Rick) Payne, Zack (Danielle) Groves and Ashton Groves; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Garrett, Doris (Jimmy) Cobb, Barbara (Carlos) Brasher and Billy (Dawn) Randolph; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Monday at noon at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville with Pastor Doug Barnett officiating.
