Wallace Dale Bearden

Wallace Dale Bearden, 72 of Mortons Gap passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at his home.  Born February 10, 1951, to the late Johnnie and Pearl (Hancock) Bearden.  He worked as a coal miner throughout his life.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.  He was proud of his family and was happy spending time with them.  

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Emma Underwood; brother, Doug Brown; brother-in-law, Don Maltba; and special friend, Kathy Pendley.

Survived by his daughter, Christy (Marty) Underwood of Mortons Gap; son, Wesley (Amanda) Bearden of Mortons Gap; 8 grandchildren, Justin (Jennifer) Underwood, Johnathan (Kayla) Underwood, Chrissy (Daniel) Jackson, Steven (Makayla) Bearden, Nathan Bearden, Chandler Allen, Christina (Devin) Brewer and Shelby (Zack) Wedding; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; life partner, Patsy Bearden; and siblings, John (Darlene) Bearden, Kenny (Cathy) Bearden, Michael Bearden, Jonell Maltba, Doris (Ray) Maltba, Anita (Glen) Davis, Martha Todd and Barbara Todd.

Service will be held Tuesday at 6:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville.  Visitation will begin at 4:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
