William "Billy" Earl Thomas

William "Billy" Earl Thomas, 52 of Manitou passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.  Born September 2, 1968, to the late Curtis Wayne Thomas and Delana Todd Thomas of Manitou.  He was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Hanson.  He retired from Green River Correctional Complex and was currently working for Hopkins County Jail.  Billy enjoyed all aspects of his mum business from planning, planting and getting to know his customers.  His pride and joy was his family and he loved spending time and providing for them.  

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother, James Curtis Thomas; and infant sister, Medrith Thomas.

Survived by his beloved wife, Le Ann (Griffin) Thomas; son, Noah Wayne Thomas; daughter, Ashlynn Grace Thomas; mother, Delana Thomas; brother, Keith Alan Thomas; and several aunts, uncles and extended family.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 5:00p.m. at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Hanson.  Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m. at the church.
