William Paul Scott

William Paul Scott, 55 of White Plains passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Heartford House Hospice in Owensboro.  Born March 11, 1968, to William "Buddy" Scott and the late Clara (Roberts) Vandiver.  Paul was an outdoorsman, he loved all forms of hunting and fishing from an early age.  He was an avid water-fowl hunter and had a talent for duck calling.  Paul was a goose-guide in the Henderson and in the Illionois areas.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by 2 nephews, William Gordon and Dakota Camplin; and niece, Kendra Rideout.

Survived by his father, William "Buddy" (Wanda) Scott; sisters, Ginger (Earl) Putman, Beverly (Seth) Spears, Candy (Larry) Schultz, Julia (Jason) Camplin and Amber (Benji) Stanley; and his aunt/caregiver, Shirley Clevenger.

Graveside service will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 1:00pm with Bro. Daniel Vandiver officiating.
